Dr. Robert Salganik
Dr. Robert Salganik graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1984 and immediately came to Waco and started his practice at Optical Dispensary. He continued his education at the University of Houston for his therapeutic license in 1988, and began his treatment with infectious diseases of the eye. In June of 2011 Dr Salganik opened his second practice, Salganik Vision Group and Optique. A significant part of his contact lens practice involves the fitting of gas permeable contact lenses. He designs single vision, bifocal, trifocal and monovision contacts. He also fits irregular corneas with Keratoconus in gas permeable scleral contacts, providing better vision than a spectacle prescription.
When gas permeable lenses are not an option, Dr. Salganik uses a hybrid design which has a gas permeable center within a soft lens. Dr. Salganik will customize the right choice of contacts or glasses for each individuals unique needs.
Janine Aman O.D.
Dr. Janine Aman graduated from the University of Houston in 1995. She has worked in Waco at the Optical Dispensary for the last eight years. Dr. Anan is very involved with her church, square dancing and playing pickleball whenever she has free or spare time. She also looks forward to visiting her seven grandchildren.
Dr. Aman is a Therapeutic Optometrists specializes in the removal of foreign bodies from the eye. She is experienced in fitting all age groups with contact lenses. She loves working with young children and the elderly. She can also conduct an eye exam in Spanish.
She is looking forward to utilizing her eye care expertise with new, future patients, who are interested in a doctor and an office that cater to a patient’s comprehensive eye care needs.
Dr. David Fram O.D.
Dr. David Fram graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1980. After graduating, he practiced for twelve years in Maryland and Washington, D.C. before moving to Waco in 1992. In 2000, after completing the educational and practice requirements, he was certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Fram enjoys practicing in a family care practice, caring for the visual and eye health needs of patients and particularly enjoys prescribing contact lenses. In addition to practicing full time, Dr. Fram serves as an administrative leader for the Waco men’s Bible Study Fellowship class and is a soccer referee.
